Knowing the locations of the annual afflictions in advance, allows us to make informed decisions as to which areas
of a given property can safely be renovated or should better be left alone.
Annual Afflictions
The south is the most problematic sector for the year 2008 as it is affected by
three of the four annual afflictions namely: The Three Killings (San Shar), The Annual Five Yellow (Wu Huang), The
Year Breaker (Po Sui)
If activated, these annual afflictions bring misfortune. Avoid conducting any
renovation or noisy maintenance work in the south sector of the home or office
during the year. This would include hammering or drilling the wall of any room
in the south sector. In the exterior, avoid major digging or construction work
in the southern part of the property. If you encounter any construction work in
this sector which is beyond your control, display a heavy metal object
between the affected area and your property in order to counter any negative influence
that may be inadvertently activated.
The Grand Duke of Jupiter (Tai Sui) resides in the north direction this year;
together with the influence of the annual #6 flying star, Tai Sui can
bring supportive influence to those occupying this sector provided that :-
1. They do not sit facing Tai Sui (the north direction) during the year. This is
particularly important for those born in the year of the Horse (1930,
1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990 and 2002).
2. Neither the interior nor exterior of the north sector of the home or
office is disturbed through noisy maintenance or renovation work, (which
includes hammering or drilling the walls of this north sector) during the
year.
Be aware of the locations of future annual afflictions and Plan Ahead.
Annual Flying Stars
The wealth sectors for the year 2008 are the east, southeast and the central
palace. Make good use of these sectors to activate and benefit from their
favourable influence.
The northwest comes under the influence of the illness star #2. The most unfavourable
months are February, June, August, September and November 2008. To negate
this unfavourable qi, display more metal objects (copper, bronze, silver etc)
in the northwest sector of the property.
The argumentative star #3 resides in the west sector this year. If you are
occupying this sector in the office, stay away from office politics and keep a
low profile during the year. Display some red objects on your desk top or in
the west sector of the office to weaken this undesirable influence.
The robbery star #7 flies to the southwest which means that it is important to
pay extra vigilance to the security of any doors or windows located in the
southwest part of the property. Introduce the colour blue into the general
decoration (such as floor mats, bedding, throw-overs etc...) of the area during
the year in order to weaken the elemental property of this
unfavourable influence.
